In January 2018 I spent a month in Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Piriapolis singing well-known tangos in all the big touristic hotspots of Argentina and Uruguay like Café Tortoni or Caminito. Before I traveled I wrote a dedicated website, performed some cheered rehearsals in Germany and recorded this free CD that contains 12 of the finest tangos ever written.

As usual the last song in any tango recording, performance or milonga ought to be La Cumparsita. The most famous tango in the world whose origin is debated between Uruguay and Argentina. I guess and I have reason to believe it was written in Montevideo.
